No, I've been very paranoid about my main game since its high level and I got all the L&E items. I was saving it to my laptop weekly and even e-mailed myself the save file anytime I leveled up or got a L or E item. This was before I signed up for some cloud storage so I can use that now I guess. Although I think I lost 1 level up because I only had it saved on my phone.
No problem though, sounds like there's higher XP monsters to kill in the newer update.

I'm not into the 0.6.11 content yet, but maintaining several builds with different strategy is not alien to me:
Build 1: level 5 extraordinary hero

, 1 skill: evasion. 1 GoLF
Build 2: level 55 rogue, 2 combat speed, 4 increased fortitude and 7 skills left for later. 1 RoLS
Build 3: level 1 baby challenge (has to die immediately when above 2200 xp -
very hard

, currently on BWM)
Build 4: level 73 quick learner (13 skill points

). 1 RoLS, 1 ChaR, 1ShaF
Build 5: level 1 test account (1 xp 800000 gold

)

Now that I've tried out all the quests available in 0.6.11, I've started another New Game. But unlike the one I lost when I reset my phone, I'm doing a base build so no quests that involve choosing a side. But helping the Thieves Guild or restoring the sale of Bonemeal are ok, even though illegal.
This time, I'm also going to grind out the L&E items too, so that after I split off into other games, they'll all have all the items.
Its still a lot easier playing a new game knowing what I know, than being completely new to everything. For example, I didn't spend any money on weapons or armor, just a couple rings to help with AC & AD. And I mostly farmed for meat from snakes and small rabid dogs, to save up enough to get the JoF as early as possible. He's at level 11 now and once I have enough saved, I'm going straight to the bandit-looking seller in Loneford to get the good equipment

As soon as i can get to Loneford i make a mad dash for it. He has some of the best gear for players early on in the game.

My favourite build so far is the rhino build. It's what I call it, anyway. IT has insane hp and attack damage, and has remarkable amounts of damage resistance to boot. So far, he's grinding for the ElyR, and he's got 7damage resistance points and 23 base AD.

My new "base game" build so far:
Level 44
HP 77 (base: 74)
AP: 12
AC: 268% (base: 170%)
AD: 27-34 (base: 20)
BC: 7% (base: 0)
Skills (in order I got them): Increased Fortitude, Regeneration, Corpse Eater, Weapon Accuracy, Hard Hit, Cleave, Combat Speed (2), More Criticals, Evasion (2)
Currently equipped with:
Strange looking helmet, Superior hard leather armour, Jewel of Fallhaven, Quickstrike dagger, Crude wooden buckler, Villain's ring x2, Leather gloves of attack, Woodcutter's boots
I've done all the quests that don't involve choosing a side, killed all the non-quest bosses, and collected the 5 Oegyth crystals. So I'm now in the gargoyle caves, going for 2 RoLS. My next skill will go to Evasion level 3, and after that, 2 to Magic Finder. Anything after that will go to Quick Learner until I hit level 20.
I'm really glad I grinded for speed potions (ended up with 51) before going into the "I have it in me" quest, it really helped.
