Idea for the ending of the guild quest's ...

After completing the final hunt and meet back with Odair, he could say something like, " you have done us a great service ( insert your name)... Most worthy of this weapon that has been handed down for centuries... May it help you on your path... Good luck finding your brother... shadow be with you "

I like the idea of progressively getting 'hunter' type equipment as you do more for the guild, leading up to something powerful like you mentioned. Maybe you could have an option even? For people who might be looking for more defense than offense.

It's been awhile since this topic has been discussed, I hope it's not been scrapped lol
In any case, I had an additional idea for this... we have a consensus that this could be used to tie in none quest related bosses, but there has also been talk of hinting around places to grind or " hunt " for L&E items... If nothing has been planned for that, maybe the Hunters Guild could send you on a quest for those items as well... we were discussing the idea that this Guild could be sort of a training ground for new players or players not on the forums... lead them to places to grind as they learn and level ( or to the L&E items they have no idea exists )

Maybe make a quest where the Huntersguild wants you to bring XX of the small rocks, weak poisons, etc for one of the quests (we could throw in a hint that if you keep at it there is a small chance you could get a L or E item)

Exactly! Maybe after you've joined the guild through Odair, he sends you to the guild hideout.. There you may have a bed, a place to store your treasures... you would meet the guild master who would give you the rest of the none quest related hunts, and within this hideout, could be the members hunting for L&E items around the world... the member could ( as you said ) have you fetch rocks or gems ect, and briefly explain that collecting large amounts of these items, may lead to something extraordinary... these wouldn't have to be done in any order, and wouldn't give any rewards, just leads you to the hot spots to hunt, and what items to keep track of...

Yes! I'm glad you like these ideas!

I think a lot of the Guild should be closed off (maybe they don't trust you) until you are able to finish a few basic quests for them (Like kill the snake master and bring them 50 small rocks)

A bed would be a nice addition too, but it should be earned.

I like earning trust idea in addition to the guilds hideout, what if the members who inform you of the L&E items where afew forum members? I know there has been talk of such things, and I think it would be cool
Maybe going a bit far with this idea, but its fun to think about lol

Gives hints to locations of the L + E items

Counting items to collect:
Small rock
weak poison
polished sparkling gem
etc

Possibly have one (or more) of the forum members be members in the guild.
(Maybe if you betray them in some way Nyktos will come after you )

Maybe to start out they could ahve you go collect a few basic things like:
Raw meats
Poison glands
etc

I was thinking if we were to use member names for the names of the people in the hunter's guild i was thinking that the players on the Highscore thread should be used.
