The Minor Speed potions cost an arm and a leg in the shops. I wouldn't pay for them anyways. They are nice for a lil boost when you wanna get through a area quickly.

Be careful going up & down the mountian, be sure to stock up on healing items.

good place to earn some level with some protection against losing HP

1) cabin of blackwater

2) prim inn, once you finish the task of the milk you can go there to rest and restore the monster, they give good xp and meat, you can also use that as a base to fight the kazaul imp

2) why you at the caves to attepmt a ROLS, i would use the near by inn to restore HP and spawn the monsters faster, you just need to pay the inn keeper 250 gold and you can use it as many times as you like

I've been going to flagstone prison, clearing that out and making a trip to prim killing everything on the way. Then I turn around and do it again. Usually the trip up makes everything respawnso I'm not losing time to waiting in some cave (gargoyle, snake, wolf, etc). Granted I won't get the rols doing this but imo the sellable items and xp are worth it when your a mid twenty. Anyway, that's my two cents.

I've been sticking it out around the cabin halfway to BWM Settlement, its especially good for leveling up since each time now requires over 100k xp. It took me a week to just now level up from 43 to 44, but that could also be because I didn't have as much time to play this past week.

Its also great for getting swords and potions. So far I've got...

Game1: 316 regular health potion, 186 minor potion of health, 140 minor potion of speed (but at least half of that was purchased), 17 blackwater dagger, 15 blackwater iron sword

Game2: 273 regular potion of health, 142 minor potion of health, 79 minor potion of speed (all drops, since this game I sided with BWM), 15 blackwater dagger, 17 blackwater iron sword (1 of each of these swords was bought, the rest were drops).

Should have plenty of gold when I sell off the swords, in addition to the dropped gold. I plan to use the speed potions when I go after the ElyR.

I have been in the cabin for a while but moved down to the gargoyle caves for the ROLS

I have found the mountain to be the best spot for xp, gold & items (which can be sold for more gold)

Come on ROLS!!

I found that if you set your "Display monster loot" to "Do not display" and "Combat speed" to "Instant (no animation)" the process of gaining exp points will speed up (I check about every 10 to 15 kills if I gained a special item). I managed from lvl 60 to lvl 61 in abount 9 hours over the weekend. Seems respawns are faster that way as well.
