I am just wondering how many quests are on the new update alone. I only found six. Plus, there still isnt lodars hideaway right?

Yep. I agree with this too.
Regarding the Prim vs. Blackwater choice, I think both the bed at BW and the ring are pretty good. Although I admit I was also initially a bit disappointed with the shops. I also really like the aspect of needing to make decisions, having been presented with only somewhat ambiguous information -- it adds a realistic element to the game.

I would say whichever you decide (at the moment neither is that helpful) keep the town leader alive at the end just in case oskar decides to have them pop up later in the game somewhere and reward you for being kind to them by offering you a quest etc lol. Obviously if this happens we still cannot know which would be the better option until we see the rewards. I sided with blackwater so I could have the 2 beds

Although it is helpful having both beds to rest in, I recommend siding with Prim because you can buy the potion of minor speed in their potion shop, which temporarily gives you 2 extra AP.
If you use it with the quickstrike dagger, you have 6 turns to attack. If you also used the skill to increase your AP to 12, then with the potion you get 7 turns to attack.
This can come in very handy in some of the later levels, or if a path is blocked by 2 monsters and you want to try to kill them both in the first turn.

There's a total of 7, but based on how you played, you might only get 6.

I completely agree with this, and this has been my strategy lately.
I would say though, in my view, it is better to make choices based on what you think is the right thing to do given the information you have, rather than making choices based on what equipment will be available as a result.
For example:
(don't read if you haven't finished all of the v0.6.10 quests

)
But of course each person can choose to play the game in their own way -- which is part of what makes the game so great

I won't spoil the choices that can be made in v0.6.10, and I like how since 0.6.9 there have been choices you have to make and it changes how the game goes. But out of curiosity, I have 2 games going so I can try both choices, whenever 2 are possible.
It all started with Vacor that I first split my character into 2 separate games - in game 1, I sided with Vacor, and in game 2, I sided with Unzel (they both had some pretty nice boots). I felt neither was less "evil" than the other since the rift spell being good or bad depends on if the shadow is good or bad, and Unzel was a thief so he wasn't exactly good himself.
After that, I used the 2 characters to try each of the 2 choices that are presented during the game and see what happens. In many cases neither side is completely good or bad.
Some of the outcomes of those choices are in towns that we can't access yet but I look forward to seeing what happens when we can.

Fair enough
Personally, I have chosen to be as consistent as possible, and my guess is that hopefully this may pay off later in the game. But of course who knows what Oskar has in store for us?
