And here the are direct downloads of the .apk file; this is pretty unethical for an app store and seems like the person simply downloaded the apk and put it up on their site.

I'm sure the dev team will take legal action at Google to get it exterminated.
That's the downside of open-source.... the leeches come and steal your work.
If they deliver the sources and globally comply with the GPL, that's another matter...
