My builds are totally offensive so far. I have not yet increased anything defensive or even critical skills for that manner. Weaponry fills that need for me.
But, is it worth sickening all those people with idols to gain a necklace? Heck yes! She's hot! And I'm young, level 29, and hot blooded. And they were really mean to her. I mean, they kicked her out of her own house and stole her property. I know a lot of people who have treated me just like that -- well almost. They deserve what they get. That's my justification for siding with her in one build.
But hold on now. In another build ...
That poor little witchy girl ... boo-hoo! She talks shady ... with her pauses. Is she really a that blonde? Didn't she know what she was doing was affecting others in the town? I think she's smart enough to jknow ezaxtly what she's doing. Maybe she's just a Prima Donna Witch who just doesn't care about anyone but herself. I know a few people just like her too. She deserves what she got and more. So, she is toast. I am siding with the townspeople.
Besides, I am so strong enough, I'm young (level 29), the town maiden are hot too, and don't need her or her stuff -- hp 55, max ap 10, attack cost 4, attach chance 100%, and attack damage 21. And I prefer the new and improved Remgard shield.
We'll see what happens in the next release ... Hmm the next release ... Oh yeah, the next release. I have 47 saves so far. I am so ready for some new direction. LOL

That's exactly what the (essentially) unlimited save slots are for! At least to me. I have over 10 separate game saves, so I can try out each option any time you have to make a choice, and not have to start a new game each time.
In the world where you killed the witch, make sure to stop by the tailor in Remgard, you'll get something to give a little boost to your critical hit skill.

Got the hat, you are so right

did I miss anything else? Spoke to most but not all after completing the quest, nothing interesting in the church of Remgard?
Bought also the +DR items, nice if I have some more levels to exchange AC for DR, can upgrade AC but not DR when leveling

for now 5 DR and 221% AC (was 194% before Remgard!) is nice. Those spiders die a lot easier now.
Totally off topic, but Mino are you still lvl 195?

No, I'm currently on 198
But I just update my signature every multiple of 5 level I reach, so the next will be 200.
And back on topic, I look forward to seeing if any more items can be upgraded in the future, it might outweigh the benefit of Marrowtaint. Too bad you can't get Marrowtaint upgraded.
