I think the drop rates on these items is really off. This is just an RPG on your smart phone and spending MONTHS trying to get something is absurd. At the very least I would makes the monsters that drop them more powerful and increase the drop rate accordingly

But they're optional, no legendary is required for anything...

+1 ... and IMO those L&E items are underpowered too... you don't need any of them...Those are "nice to have one" items if you are a collector...

The odds are in your favor as long as you keep grinding.... when you stop, the odds of you getting one does too. (not very good odds, but odds none-the-less)

On my first build i collected roughly 4,000 small rocks before finding my first Rols.

The odds do not change the more grinding you do. They stay exactly the same. Each individual monster has a 1 out of 10,000 chance to drop the ring and 9,999 chances to drop something else. Your 5,000,000th kill still has only 1 out of 10,000 chance to drop the ring.

I never said they change... they just stop when you do.

You can't get one if you are not trying for it.

I know that the odds of getting a Rols/Rol/Elyr/etc from NPC #1 will be the same for NPC # 200 or NPC # 6,231,639

That's what all the homeless people keep telling themselves every time they buy another lottery ticket. They're still homeless and it works the same way. If I'm playing a game I would really rather not have to play the lottery too.
