Yes i believe it would be a record! Not the most Small Rocks (I think that one belongs to Lady Black) but that is up there.
Congratulations on your ROLS! So... any thoughts on getting another? lol (just keep in mind that shadow regeneration does not stack)

Thanx! However, I am not really happy with that record
Anyway, I continue to collect other items. Now working on the Iquan beasts. Oh yes, do I understand well that ShaF's actor condition affects the player and not the monster?

Iqhan Chaos Beasts drop the CHAR
Izthiel Guardians drop the SHAF
Both of these items have a drop rate of 1 : 1,000
The status conditions effect the NPCs not the player.

This is correct, with each successful hit there is a 20% chance of the player getting fatigue, not the monster. There's been multiple requests to have this changed so it's inflicted on the target, but that doesn't seem likely.

Thanks for both replies, but they are against each other

I can confirm, that only one of them is correct.

4.3 Shadowfang (Abbreviation: ShaF)

on a successful hit there is a 20% chance to apply the actor condition "Minor fatigue" (gives 2 Attack cost and 2 Move cost penalty; reduces Attack damage by 1) to the player for 3 rounds.
Woops!
Char effects the NPC
Shaf effects the player

I got the ChaR as well

Even though it is fun, imo it is not really useful. I mean, after the first round - or the third... - it practically becomes a +20AC and 5-7AD weapon, which is not bad, but e.g. the Flagston's Pride knows around the same from the first round, has critical multiplier AND you do not have to kill a thousand chaos beast for it. Not to mention the balanced steel sword, which you only have to buy... Maybe if basic AC could be +10 or 0; or its chaotic grip would be cumulative (-100AC and -10DR after second successful effect).
I do not want to be negative, just I do not understand why are these items legendary or extraordinary if even the shop one is better? These items should not make the player indestructible, but imo they should be at least helpful comparing to the other items.
Also would it not be possible to let these monsters drop unique items? E.g. Itzhiel Guargian drops polished rings, but other itzhiels drop it as well making difficult to count. Chaos beast drop health potions, but other monsters drop it as well in the same cave, etc.

Sorry, and congratulations to Pyrizzle as well!!!

I agree that many of the rare drop items are not much better overall than other store bought or boss drop items, but I like the Chaos Reaper because it is one of only a few weapons that lets you inflict a condition on NPCs. And yes, it might not seem like much, but what if you were to inflict Chaotic Grip, then change weapons to a critical hit one for your next attack? Then that critical damage would be even more effective.
And since they drop so rarely, its important that they not be something you absolutely need to survive in the game. Although I know there are a few players who have a hard time imagining playing without the ROL or RoLS. The ShaF is more of a trophy item since it causes the condition on the player, although the +40 AC boost is pretty nice, if you don't give yourself fatigue. On the facebook fan page, there is a player using it who also has the rejuvenation skill which seems to balance out the trade-off for this weapon (based on what he's said).
There are 2 categories of "Extraordinary" items - either they have a 1:1000 drop chance, or its a boss drop or quest reward. Even some of the boss drops aren't that great (Wolfpack hide, Curasis armor), but some are well worth the fight like the Dagger of the Shadow Priest, and I personally like the Sword of Shadow's Rage and Barbed Dagger.
I myself like the idea of inflicting conditions being part of what makes a weapon "extraordinary".
