Even though Shadow Regeneration doesn't stack, I still find the 25% AC, 4-7 AD, and 6 critical skill to be like a villains ring with a critical hit boost and enough to make it worth the effort.

I just want to warn you that grinding for the RoL is a lot more of well, a grind than the RoLS is inmost cases as this is purely a mathmatics issue. There are less than half as many Imps than there are gargoyle trainers and masters (5 v.s. 11 or 12), so in general it will take you twice as long. It is worth the grind if you are building an offensive minded hero. Good luck.

I also found it more of a grind because with the RoLS you can leave the caves to take a break but with the ROL I didn't want to wander back and forth in the dark so I felt like I was stuck there until I got it.

Three characters. 4 ROLS. Highest level character 44 all ROLS acquired around level 26. No MF on all builds. Need more ROLS gotta get a Second ROL first...

Started my 2nd character about 6-8 weeks ago, started grinding for the RoLS about 3 weeks ago....doing some serious grinding (at least 15 levels), all the while remembering Pyro saying it took him 4000 rocks...so I kept plugging along, then yesterday, bam! I got one at 3181 rocks! Yep, it feels good to get finally get one and well worth it in my opinion.

Congratulations Duke! The first one is always so rewarding!! about 800 more rocks and you might have beaten my record.
