Hi there!
You're all doing a good job on the translation, but actually I'd like to have the choice on how to play the game. Is there any way, besides switching my whole phone to english, to get the english version?

Cheers,

Flo

Yes, I saw that post already. Unfortunately I'm not much of a programmer and wouldn't know where to start with: "Create a custom build of the game omitting the German translation."

First, welcome to the game and to the forums, Flori. (Especially since I gather from your name that you are a woman. There are not enough of us here!)
As another non-programmer it seems to me that you are stuck with setting your whole phone to English. Even if you could create a build without the German translation, you would still not really have a choice, as you would then not be able to play in German at all.
Good luck, good hunting, and I hope to read more from you on the forums.

I'm not too sure about what I have done, but as far as I know (I'm still no "Android" developer) I have something for everyone who wants to play in english :)
I've taken out the translations and the game started in the emulator ... build with API 10 ... means, that at least people with Android 2.3.3 und upwards should be able to play this .... I hope it works!

So if anyone wants, send me a PM with your mail address and I send you my custom build :) 0.6.11 fresh from git ...
At least as oscar is not mad about this :)

This is NOT ONLY FOR GERMANS :)

Tranlating in German

Hello, I'm playing Andors Trail now for a while and I would be pleased to translate parts of Andors Trail in German. Could someone tell me how to do that? I mean where to find the parts to translate and where I have to write the translated parts down.
Sorry for my sometimes bad English - I can understand it better than to speak

This site is for me not very needful for understanding that. :(

Hi, I asked user Bomber, who did a big part of the german translation yet, about helping some days ago, and he said he is too busy doing other things atm... so I would also like to contribute here, but before we start to translate, there should be knwon which parts are already done.

Also, please feel free to ask me if there's anything I can help with.

To start with, I would suggest visiting the following pages, that contain some pointers on where to start:
http://code.google.com/p/andors-trail/w ... tion_Howto
http://andors-trail.googlecode.com/git/ ... tions.html

Thanks for helping make Andor's Trail even better!
