What's the advantage of having lower move costs?

There's probably a big misunderstanding on my part... but I don't quite understand the advantage of lowering your move cost (is the only advantage that you get more opportunities to flee?). I see the advantage of lowering attack cost, but what good is lowering the move cost if I never flee from battle?

i guess it helps while u missed to attack.
for example your default move cost is 6 AP
now if your attack cost is 2 then you can hit the enemy 5 times in a round.
now if you attack three times AP left will be 4.Suppose now you want to flee but you cant cause your move cost is 6.so lowering it will help this way..
but i dont find it much useful

As you reach higher levels and stronger monsters you may find that you do want to flee sometimes. Or if you are so high that you really never have to even think of fleeing, you may indeed not want to lower move cost. You did not give any stats for your character, so I don't know the correct answer for your case.

AFAIK currently only fleeing is affected.

I'm level 41 [Equipped stats: AC: 184%, AD: 20-21, Crit: 45% X 3.0, BC: 86%, Damage Resistance: 1], so I generally don't think of fleeing (I do have to be careful not to take on too many people at once though).

I can attack twice and flee if it's too tough.

Also if you're in a fight with 2 monsters but can only handle one you can move so you're not getting double teamed. But again frivilous if you're stronger. Once I hit lvl 30 or get a second RoLS (i'm greedy lol) iqhans my goal

quickstrike dagger - stick & move strategy...
approach - get hits in on the mob - flee before the counterattack
approach the hurt mob - get in more hits - flee before counterattack
rinse & repeat...
---someone else posted this---
NOT my idea - although i woulda loved taking credit!

Until that nasty creature that is way too tough for you to take on, hits you first and sends you to bed. Basically, if you regularly have to flee, you're grinding or questing in the wrong area.
