I looked at the stats of ELyR , and is it really worth trying to get it?I mean the 5% ac is nothing, just the same as to level up once and put your stat into ac. I see that the RoL is much cooler because it heals you and also is much easier to get...

i was thinking the same thing a few weeks back...

i decided to try for a RoL after getting my first RoLS,
because it seemed more appealing (than the ElyR) to my play style at the time.

but, then again... i've been surprised before by how effective an item or set really was

Both weapons have the same drop rate. The ELyR is actually easer to get because wrym a& t spawn quicker and the and there is more of them.
I have an ELyR and the only reason I don't use it is bc of its lack of critical hit. IMO, the ROL, is the weapon that is useless.

I agree. One of my FEW disappointments in this game are the legendary weapons. IMO, neither are nearly as good as the Dagger of the Shadow priests. The RoLS is truly legendary, and worthy of all the efforts to obtain it. I wish the weapons were on the same level. I see no reason right now to go back to BWM. I'm just going to stay in the Iqhan caves and level up some more until something new comes along.

It drops some hitpoints but it can cause fatigue to enemy
