Well, if you can't complete all of the content down there then I wouldn't advise grinding down there.

And please remember that you're not going to be able to sail right through all content all of the time, but that doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't be there playing that content.

I would recommend not doing any grinding and just play the game naturally. If you find yourself getting killed quite easily and often, then you need to back off and go somewhere else.

How are you doing in the Haunted Forest?

someone please help, i can’t get the yellow item quest in crossglen to activate anymore . what do i need to do???

the quests Lodar, Charwood, Colonel Lutarc and the starter quests Prohibited Substance and Rat Infestation are mandatory.
Do you have these and also 9000 gold pieces with you, then you can dive into the new adventure.
Just go home and take a nap - it's not really going to be refreshing...

Is there a better place to grind for exp than the Charwood?

At level 66? Why are you grinding? XP? Gold? Why are you grinding in general at your level?
At your level you should be able to survived down in Sullengard.

Yeah, I should've be able to survive in there. But unfortunately, during my numerous visit to the place, I somehow managed to always get surrounded by the snakes in there and get absolutely wrecked by their crit DMG (I blame my skills (and luck) for that). Regardless, I'll thank you for the suggestion. I'll try to grind in there.

No OP items really. A matter of tactics (swarm prevention, hit and run, judicious use of Potions, etc.) and skill. Patience too...
