to the members who've spent skill points on:
- strong mind
- enduring body
- pure blood

do you regret spending these skill points?
or, are you satisfied with the results?

im contemplating using my next 12 levels (3 SP) to get one rank in each skill
thoughts anyone?

my current plan is to continue evenly builing up Bark Skin, Regeneration & Corpse Eater
(note: Bark Skin capped @ 5)

I did some crude analysis when looking over all of the skills and decided they were unnecessary (for now). I didn't vote in the poll though, because you only asked people who took them...

I don't regret using skill points in them. See my signature for the #'s.

indeed, i was interested in hearing your stance on the issue.
will you build them all up to 30%?

new actor conditions on the way,
im thinking of keeping them even (IF i take them)

leaning towards "yes" at the moment...

I think I had pure blood on my first build cuz I got tired of bleeding wounds, but can't remember and that file got overwritten when my 3 year old bumped my elbow when I was saving...

I dunno, haven't used them. My selection has been Weapon Accuracy 3, Hard Hit 2, More Criticals 1, Better Criticals 1, Combat Speed 1, Cleave 2, Corpse Eater 1 and Increased Fortitude 1.

I have 1 level in each of the resistance skills, but I really can't say whether they are worth it or not. I did not vote, because I did not know which way to vote. While killing Itzals, I got a number of bleeding wounds and was poisoned by the frogs fairly often, but have no way to know how much more bleeding and poisoning I would have had without the skill points. Sorry I could not be more help.

I am building a defensive hero so I have been focused on BC and the resistance skills have taken a backseat for now. That blasted chaotic grip is a motivating factor to up the mental block, but I think driving up my overall BC will help prevent the chaotic grip too. I think the monster's chance of inflecting you is calculated after the code determines if the hit is successful or not. So say you have an 80% to block and the monster has a 50% of inflecting you that means 50% of the 20% will inflect you. Might still be worth investing skills in the resistance skills.

I went with "not worth it", but that could be because I only have level 1 for Strong Mind and Enduring Body, so I still get hit with those conditions (like Fatigue or Chaotic Grip) fairly often.

If you're willing to spend the skill points to go all the way to level 7, then it might pay off, but I also agree with Tek in tackling the root of the conditions, which is to increase BC so that you don't get hit to begin with.

If it turns out having any level of Enduring Body would also reduce the chance of getting Fatigue as a result of using the ShaF, then I would reconsider it for that since you would then get the 40% AC and less chance of being hit with fatigue. But I wasn't sure if it works on that weapon or just from creatures that cause it.
