Hello, I am new to the game and boards. First let me say great game! I am wondering how each of you seem to have several characters? I tried to start a different character and the game states that I will lose my existing one. I was hoping to try a different style of play and compare, but am not enthusiastic about losing 40 levels of play.

Did you use several devices or am I doing something incorrectly. I apologize for the "newbie" question but I struggle with technology. Thank you for any help.

you just save the game with one character.
make another character and then you can use save-reload to play both characters

Moved to correct forum.

Once you have saved your original character you can create a new one by tapping "New Game" from the main menu.

The warning is there because you will loose any unsaved progress from your most recently played character. I will make a note to change the wording so it makes that more clear.

Thanks for clearing that up. ^_^

The message is "you will lose your curent game and your current character, are you sure want to start a new game?" As long has I have saved my current game, hitting "Ok" will not cause me to completely lose my current character, correct? Thanks all in advance.

Right, you lose unsaved progress.

Ok, thank you. The wording just made me nervous.

I can't believe I erased my old saved game at level
56. I swore I was not going to play this game again.
I am at level 11 now and still playing. I learned to pay
Closer attention to saving my game on what slot I am
Saving on.

Sorry to hear that, I've been there myself and I'm now extra paranoid about it.

Each game gets 2 save slots, and any time I level up I email myself the save file and also upload to drop box.
I also occasionally copy the save files to my laptop.

Never again!
