the Dragon Slayer quest gets a green light!

:D

why not throw a dragon in there, right?

 ( )

------------------------------------------------------

nothing sloppy though, dragons will not be treated lightly!
[and yes, the rewards will be just as epic!]
Nearly a year later, we're still waiting to kill the dragon :(!
Bring it to us so we can slay some real evil.
i'm pretty sure Scott has some dialogue written up for it & i even think Ian has some maps for it...
even if he doesn't - i remember us talking about using some our extra (unused) maps.

so there is progress, it is just hard to find extra time to work on stuff like this on a consistent basis.
at least for me anyway - shockingly, i missed my first two meetings back to back last month.

but, i have gotten out of those waters...
as for the rest of us ~ sometimes we "gel" & get a lot done.
other times - things flow nicely & then come together rapidly.

but, for that to happen...
we need things on the back burner that are "being worked on"
so we can get more done when we are pumping work out.

[taskfreak is really going to help us fine tune this process]

all in good time.

:D

Okay okay guys and gals, we have wondered a lil off topic here:

Topic: Dragon Slayer Quest

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have some of the dialog in my inbox and am working on reading it to send back. Will have to start another slot in the Dev Corner for this one.

Just wanted to bump this thread back up .. anything happening with this?

Also, I thought it sorrow's idea for the Dark Burn actor condition might connect with dragon fire as well, though they could remain separate conditions.

I have to say TY WYRM FOR SAVING THE DRAGON!!!! we must protect the dragon... my precious lol. I would really like to see this get put in the game. Also here's an idea after killing the dude for the dragon the dragon has a series of quest for you?

Also even tho its common for all dragons to breath fire... few dragons could also breath ice. Just throwing that out there

I would love to see more for this quest. The idea of Dragons in Andor's Trail seems to be a good fit.

I suggest that instead of a burn condition from dragon fire what if the dragon breathes ice on you and you become frozen for xx rounds were your AP drops to 0

My initial idea was to gain a weapon or a set of armour made from the skin of the dragon after defeating.I would still like the storyline to be like that if we could

In China, most dragons are regarded as bringers of wisdom and enlightenment... so pardon me if I don't believe in going St. George style and killing dragons. Although I won't browbeat anyone into writing a quest the way I like it to, of course.

I was just throwing out what I thought would be a better idea, no pressure.
