Don't forget that the Japanese believe that the dragon would Ward off evil spirits and bring good luck

slaying a dragon would be like slaying a unicorn.... I couldn't do it.

How could one live with themselves knowing they might have just caused the extinction of a species?

hmm.. im am intrested when there is undead dragons around.. or a chance tho have one baby dragon as and pet..

Ancient China is the birthplace of "dragons", and they revered them as gods and attribute the survival of humanity itself to the dragonic beings.

yes I agree, but the existence of the dragon is not in a cave, it's better if he nests in the highest point of the mountain.
