Character Gender!!

I would like to be able to choose whether my character is male or female at the beginning of game creation!!! It would be nice to have a girl icon running around instead of a boy all the time! and this would not change the story at all, still looking for my brother, only except...certain dialogues saying 'someone who looks like me' or, ones referring to the character as male would need to be adjusted slightly, but that can't be tooooooooo hard is it?

I know there's only like 4 of us girls around, but i know my fiance likes to play girl characters cause he likes the idea of a girl kicking butt in battle. and i think he just likes watching her butt in the over the shoulder games. xD

oh yes, this has definitely been brought up in the past.
along with the gear changing on your hero / heroine when they change equipment...
we just need time to produce the graphics, or another artist to jump in?
