I made a game account and gave it a huge number of skill points so I could test new skills as they come out and found something wierd withmagic finder. At 600 magic finder I found rols twice from the gargoyle trainer in the top right room fighting him 3 times, did this twice. At 1000 magic finder I found 2 rols within 5 fights multiple times. Not enough patience to search forever for them with slowly increasing numbers, just thought this was interesting to share

I don't understand. Are you saying that after defeating a gargoyle trainer, it dropped 2 RoLS at once

Interesting to know that the higher numbers actually work since I doubt anyone would want to get that high a level the hard way

How in the world did you get 1000 skill points?

Lol. I am hardly a code-monkey, I just enjoy the game.

Currently L43 and fighting towards Remguard, I was one of the first to play the game back when it had less than 250k downloads; ground my way to a Chaos Reaper and an RoLS (890ish small rocks in the process) dropped it while waiting for new patch, then came back now.

Pleasantly surprised to find that it patched weeks ago.

Quick question- is there any way for me to get Vacor's Boots Of Attack back? I accidentally sold it on my main character through my first playthrough, and back then save slots were limited and I didn't even realize I sold those boots for awhile...

No I just had a theory that there might be some levels of magic finder that work better, only got one ring at a time but got it in very few fights, much less than theoretical probability would dictate. Just thought it was interesting and not sure if it's a fluke or extremes of magic finder actually help exceptionally more (it was fun to play and see all the extrordinary/legendary items)

Once you put magic finder over lvl 900 or so, they drop really fast...

There seens to be a few points that it becomes substantially easier, over 100 fights with magic finder 599 no ring, within 4 fights at 600 2 rings i'm interested in that aparent jump. And it's an old save file that I made to be able to test new skills, used an old cheat engine because I know nothing about coding.
