I got a picture in my head of a path heading off into the distance (like a triangle with the very top angle chopped off, wide at the bottom and small at the top), forest on either side. At the beginning of the path is our hero, fighting monsters where the forest gives way to meadow. The path actually fades to black at the top and on the path, in the middle, stands a very small silhouette against an evening sky, of a person. Above the forest, path, and silhouette are the words, Andor's Trail with the shield and swords between the words.

So the idea is that while our hero is fighting the monsters, at the top there is the silhouette of Andor walking along the trail.

I know it may seem complicated, but it's actually not. It could be done using current graphics, and a half-decent paint program. What I have in my head looks professional without too much work. When I get paid by Worker's Compensation this week I'm going to get an Android stylus and I'll sketch out a really basis pre-vis sketch to show ya what I mean. ;)
Great idea, can't wait to see it! +1!

I love the idea of a trail that leads into the unknown.

What about some monsters lurking in the woods and a silhouette of a castle tower on the horizon? I guess it is difficult to do this in a small picture, but I think a little tease would be great.

the even nicer one is still in the works... lol.

Stooge,

I like your first one much better. Why did you drastically change the design?

Just kicking around ideas, felt this one 'fit' better with the theme for the google play page.

Im still working on improving the first one but its going to take a bit longer.
Havent done much of this sort of thing since high school. Plus im getting used to paint.net which I have never used until this project.

there is still so much that could be put into it but not sure of the max file size restrictions...

When I used to use Paint Shop Pro, I found there was a built in feature that would shrink file size for graphics. I figure that if PSP had that, which seemed like a simple program, there should be free graphics file shrinking programs our there.

It works by removing extra artifacts, merging very similar colors to shrink pallet size, merge layers, etc. It would, say, take a 2KB GIF pic and shrink file size to 500Bytes. With PSP it worked quite well, especially for .png images.

Something like this would help for Oskar's file size problem. :)
