W/ V.7 in the works I was trying to think of a new

With this ability you would be able to move thru one NPC to the other side of it using AP.

At level
1: it costs 8AP with a 50% chance of success
2: it costs 8AP with a 70% chance of success

Lvl 1 Prereqs:
Lvl 3 evasion (gotta be able to dodge attacks)
Lvl 1 Combat speed (gotta be quick)
Lvl 1 Dodge (gotta be hard to hit)

Lvl 2 Prereqs:
Lvl 4 evasion (gotta be able to dodge attacks)
Lvl 2 Combat speed (gotta be quick)
Lvl 2 Dodge (gotta be hard to hit)

Just an idea.

+1 could help in a pinch... in the game Shade, you could cast " twist " on someone to trade places with them in a last ditch effort to escape geting killed... it would however, drain all of your mana and most of your hp, so it was very dangerous to try... This would be a useful skill in AT that would always have a purpose, yet not overpower you...

And with the swarms of NPCs that you will run into this could come in handy quite often. I have had 9 enemies surround me while playing a test version (not available).

The prereqs could be ajusted a bit, but for the most part I think this one could really work well.

Would be awesome to use in crowded pubs and streets too :D

Surrounded by 9 enemies sounds EPIC!!

Was thinking about it and maybe level 2 should have a lil less AP needed. Was thinking it would be good to lower Level 2 to 7AP instead so that way if you were succesful you could have 5AP left that you could use to consume a potion or food.

Sidestep = Ninja mode!

Sidestep sounds way too relaxed, like taking a stroll
I like the name you gave it earlier: uncanny dodge! more agile and risky!

I think I like uncanny dodge better as well.

If I remember correctly it's a term used in D&D

yeah, it's a D&D term. and while it may sound better...
i think we should avoid using too many of their terms.

people might start making the wrong assumptions if they see our skill list...
and a quarter of them are used in D20 games.

while uncanny dodge may sound great,
it means something else entirely in D&D.

just some thoughts...

:D

How about Shadowstep? Sounds slightly like you're on the side of the Shadow though...

+1 Shadowstep is a fitting name for such a skill ( and quite AT too LoL )
