How do I view the map?

on the bottom right corner of your screen there is a button, click that button and 2 buttons pop up above it. The top one opens the map and the oen below it opens the quick slots.

JFYI, it doesn't seem like you can map out Prim, or anything on the other side of the collapsed mine. As already explained, anything underground also can't be mapped.

Just noticed, you can map out underground places. I'm currently in the Iqhan caves and each part I cover shows up on an inside map.

Edit: Same for the Prim/BWM area, it seems that its all considered underground so all of it only shows up as a separate map when you're there. So basically, if you're outdoors, you see everywhere you've been that's also outdoors. But going inside somewhere starts a new map of that inside location.
