Blackwater Subtracts! (Possible Spoiler)

This doesn't make any sense. With my current setup, my attack chance is 170%. I take away Flagstone Pride, and I'm at 149%. I try to use a Blackwater Iron Sword I got off of some creature near Blackwater (with an ACh of 50%) and my ACh is still 149%. I try to use a Blackwater Dagger I got in the same area, and it decreases to 139% (the blade itself has 40% ACh). What's up with that?

My mistake. I thought that was the effect it had on the opponent. Oh, and ok on the details. I'm thinking that because of the negative effects, this may be a new source of income.

i still think that the blackwater gear set can be made useful,
if you can stand the effect of the misery...

or - run a quest for the [permanent] cure?!
(or maybe a necklace that would nullify the condition?)



ohhh, the possibilities!!!
i think we should consider this when we write up the part when the Prim Mine opens...

Roguelike indeed. Unless your other gear is just that good, it's just not worth the sacrifice.

exactly, you were doing exactly what you needed to!



you noticed the problem with the equipment...
because you were enticed by the stats!

you wanted more power,
you looked at what was available...
and ran with it!

Hm, I see. It would be nice to up my block chance and of course attack chance/damage. Power isn't everything though: even though I had already made my choice, I wouldn't use Dark Protector. Unless the poster just listed it wrong, it detracts from health, which doesn't work for me.

personally - i dont like the helm, i always take the reward...
but that's just me! [and the beauty of multiple builds!]



(but, i am also inclined to take the reward as i am always "with the Shadow")

I love to save my game and try to accomplish weird things. (like run thru the spider caves nekked, as in no gear. I can make it!)

The more you grind the more you level the more you level the stronger you grow.

(with increased fortitude i don't mind the tiny drop in HP)
