Hey Trailers
i figured i would put all my questions in this one thread, thanks for the friendly advice so far
my first question is about
Cleave
it gives +3AP on every kill and you need 1 WA and 1 HH.
if i have 2 WA and 2 HH do i get 6AP on every kill?

Yes
2 WA + 2 HH +
2 cleave = 6AP upon each kill.

No.
Only if you skill Cleave a second time, too. This answer is included in Pyrizzle's post but I wanted to point it out so that you don't miss it.

so in theory if i had 2cs, 5 wa, 5hh and 5 cleave, with a quickstrike dagger and the fallhaven necklace i could have 13 attacks per round?
i may have underestimated cleave..

Overestimated
in my opinion.... This ability is ONLY effective when attacking more than 1 NPC at a time, otherwise it is a useless ability.

And I am pretty sure you can not get more AP than your maximum in one turn. This means you can fill up your 12 AP so that Level 4 of Cleave should be a natural limit.

ah, that seems a bit sad then, i very rarely am surrounded by two let alone three or more creatures..
next question: quick learner.
as far as i can tell there is no character level limit in the game? so in the *long* run QL is probally quite good to get up quite high so when i am fighting high level creatures i will get a big xp boost?

No and yes. There is NO level limit and YES, QL gives a nice xp boost. Just ask Mino, he is a big believer in it.

Cleave only restores AP during a fight with multiple monsters, up to your max AP. But if you're using the quickstrike dagger, you can also take a minor potion of speed and then your max AP would be 14 (if you also have combat speed level 2).
Right now, there's a few spots where you're forced to attack 2 or 3 at a time because they're blocking a path (the cave where you got your shadow dagger has one of those). I took 2 levels of cleave, so I could also get an extra hit during a mob attack when using higher attack cost weapons, like the skull crusher.
As Tek mentioned, I am indeed a big fan of Quick Learner, but I usually don't start on it until I have increased fortitude, regeneration, corpse eater, cleave (1-2 levels) and combat speed 2. But if you want to keep leveling up to get stronger and stronger, then QL is great. The only problem is once you stop leveling up this skill, the XP gain will start to seem like it's too small. But it also works as future proofing - each update so far has included newer monsters that give more XP. I originally planned to stop at level 20, so any future kill would give me double the XP, but now I'm going for level 25 so I'll get a little more than double.
