BINGO! Great thinking, Argon!
Pyrizzle wrote:Argon: Great suggestions! There is a thread on an idea simular to this called "Monster Diary" that have some cool suggestions about adding info in the game on NPCs and other things.
Thystonius wrote:Yes. It is a boring, easy grindfest. I love hard games, like Dark Souls, Dwarf Fortress and NetHack.
What would you suggest to do to make the game harder?
What keeps you coming back to play if it's so easy and boring?
Off topic.
See my replies in other threads what to do. Short summary: upgrade combat system and work on endgame content to increase replayability.
I come back because I love open innovation (my job is into operational excellence and inovation), the whole concept of involving the community in developing the game is awesome. That does not mean I rate AT among the best games. I just log in to slayanother 3 rooms of Gargoyle trainers andmasters to get my 2. RoLS in between leaving my 2 cents on the forum and playing other games.
As soon as I do not see much happening development wise, I will loose interest. As will many others.
One thing I don't like is what drops what in the world, animals dropping gold being a seperate issue. How come a small dog drops the same amount of meat as a giant wolf? Why do boars have boots? Where do they keep them? Any intellegent being (thinking, walking, talking) could have anything but the mundane creatures like ants, bees, dogs, worms, etc, should not have clothing/weapons/gems/potions/etc.
Take a stop by my game thread for some forum fun!!!

The boar eat the previous owner of the boots along with those boots. In the process of you slaying it, it's stomach was ripped open thus revealing the boots.

many animals such as Rats, racoons, a bunch of types of birds, and more have a habit of hoarding shiny objects
