Is there something about the game you don't like?

I thought about opening this thread for a while because criticism often leads to arguments in internet forums. But I think this is a forum where we all get along so well that I can ask this question. I think Please post your criticism but stay fair and polite. The programmers of this game have made a great game that we can enjoy for free. They deserve our respect. Thank you!

Here is the question:
What don't you like about Andor's Trail? What issues need the attention of the developers the most?

Is there something that annoys you? Are there single situations that drive you mad /bore you/ you can't stand?

Let me start off by saying I understand the reason why and I am ok with it (sorta), but

Not Enough Updates!

I know those guys have lives and don't get paid etc. etc. But I have an addiction to feed here and it isn't going to feed itself.

Other than that I can't really say there is anything about the game that I don't like. I might actually lo--- (cough) *ahem* anyways I really like this game. :P

I think he means you should get more rewarded for finishing them, with more XP.

As for me, maybe it's my addiction but I can't think of anything. So instead I'll just mention things that I'd like to see change but they're mostly cosmetic and don't really bother me that much.

Splatters - the green ones kind of blend in to the ground, so change it to purple so it stands out more visually. Maybe change the white powder looking ones to bright blue.

The Irdegh poison gland should sell for more than the regular ones - they're dropped by less creatures and more rarely.

Arulir skin should also sell for more - doesn't drop often, the creature that drops it is pretty tough and the skin is apparently used to make damage resistant gloves.

But none of this is anything I dislike enough to even consider not playing anymore.

There isn't anything I really dislike. It's a great game. I love the story, and all of the side quests. I hope the number of side quests don't diminish as the game is developed.

Also, maybe I just missed it, but I'd love to see a version with a contribution price on it. Maybe $2 or $3 so I can feel better about playing it so much?

I have asked this repeatedly... but Oskar says no .... and something like "this is and will be a free game. If you like to help you can help by sparing your time for developing this game..."

Huge letters and capitals were not what I had in mind when I mentioned being polite ;)

Thanks for your comments, I think it is important to know what the issues are that spoil the experience for some players.

@Tomcat:
I agree that quest rewards should be more important as the game is supposed to be quest driven. ATM you need to grind every now and then in order to advance. But I think this will change when more and more quests will be available. Beginners quests are in the making.

@Fire7051:
Writing quests consumes a whole lot of time. I tried it, and there is a lot to consider when designing it. Plus you have to enter it into the AT content editor in the right format. Developers do this in their free time. I don't blame anyone but me that this game does not proceed faster. Everybody can commit something. Feel free to speed things up by contributing yourself.

Like I said I get that and of all people out there I really understand that. Once I get some free time myself I plan on doing some work to help things along.

No reason to blame yourself I think everyone loves the game so much that we are all just looking forward to more content. :D

Mino is right .. I mean you should get more XP for completing them. Alot more. As in a noticeable fraction of a level-up for the level at which a typical character might become capable of completion. Say, more than a tenth but less than half - might take some playtesting to get it right. Less if you get a good magical item in the deal.

@buddy: sorry about the shouting lol
