Too easy
I like to see it in this way... easy ro get lvl1 but you got frustrated because of this 0 AP is transfered... and you will really like to see at least 2...
Interesting idea fire, but i got to say that IMHO i think there are too may ways this could become overpowered. Are you thinking that this would only work while still in combat (kinda like how cleave is only effective while fighting more than 1 NPC at a time)?

Yes it would only work in combat and only take effect in the second round of combat as it would take any unused AP and roll it over to the next round. If combat were to end due to fleeing or death then the AP would reset to the standard 10 or 12.
This way if you are only using 8/10 AP that would give you 12/10AP for the next round allowing you one extra hit.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.
Give a man a fire and he will be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

This is an interesting idea, but I think its overpowering so I vote "no". Not that this is a complete democracy.

If it does get added, it would probably work similar to Cleave for single combat, meaning you won't get more than your Max AP. So if you if your max is 10, it would only roll over up to that 10. But that would still be very helpful.
Just trying to get this idea clear: carrying over the resulting AP from the previous round ONLY, resulting in:
AP=12: only useful for weapons with AP7
(AP5: 1st round: 2 hits, 2AP left; 2nd round: AP=14 2 hits, 4 left but only 2 carries over, etc.)
AP=10: only useful for weapons with AP4 and AP6
(AP3: same deal as above, not enough AP carries over each round)
I can't imagine why this proposal would be that useful - especially because almost every player above level 32 will have 12 AP and probably no AP7 weapon...
Maybe tweak it a little more? Or did I miss something?
Still playing this game at level 5, collected all extraordinaries, now some precious ring would be useful...
