I would appreciate if open quests would continue and maps in the gaps would soon fill, or continue from the first stages of the game. (Not a new Remgard-safari)
It would be great if I could decide the game language myself. Currently it is German as my phone is set German. But there have been huge translation difficulties in the past and there are still some little points. I would prefer to play it just in English as it has been in the beginning.
When I started the game at the very beginning there had been difficulties when entering the name, so that it is now strange, with 3 lines. An option to change the name would be a nice luxury.
It would be nice to have some sound on/off option within the game. I usually forget to turn off the sound of phone before starting the game :-)
I think for the pioneers from the beginning there has been some unfair handling in the development of the skills. Would be nice to get the skill points afterwards at next update.
There has been a version where enemies didn't resurrect next to the character. I enjoyed that. I think it disturbing when having killed a monster, want to drink some potion before continuing, but the monster comes back and attacks . . .

I've collected so many little stones. Will there ever be a sling to make use of them? :-)
(missile battle)
A brutal kind of enemies would be such, which appeare in groups and "consciously" encircle the player, trying to get battles with as many of them as possible at once. (8 in the worst case) Such behaviour would fit to mummies or soldiers.

Welcome to the forums.

There's a few threads you might want to check out, starting with the "links to already suggested ideas" one just above this one. You might find that some of those suggestions (or similar ones) have been made before.

Also check the project news to see what's being worked on (listed in the meetings posts), one of the links was to a discussion about the translations. Apparently you can change the system language to English to play the game in English. You can also help with translations by checking out the topic for each language in the Developers thread.

As far as those of us who suddenly had a bunch of skill points when they were first added, I felt it was a mixed bag. Some skills like increased fortitude might not have been as effective but you also got the benefit of not having to wait 4 levels at a time. Either way, the only way to really make the most of it would be to start a new game. I've done it a few times, it doesn't take as long as you might think.

Welcome to the forums!

We're doing our best to release the next version. Please keep in mind that this game is open-source, so we don't get paid for it.

It's possible to change the game language if you change your phone's general language via the settings. But I admit, it's rather uncomfortable. Nice idea!

I don't know how to change the name but I was able to hack my save file and put in another name. But that only works for the load menu. :(

Why do you want to disable the sound? So far, there's no in game music.

The skill points were released in v.0.6.10. I played that game since v.0.6.8 and I got all my skillpoints. (Lvl 40 at this time). I don't know why it doesn't work for you.

As I don't know, I ask also: ;)
Can monsters still spawn next to you in v.0.6.12?

I'm sorry disappoint you. Ranged combat won't be released in the near future.

I hope my answers are useful even if I couldn't reply to some questions.

Happy hunting!

First off welcome to the forum.

The game is still in development so while we all feel your pain and want to complete the open quests as well, we have no idea how much Remgaurd may or may not have to do with some of the open quests. So the only thing I can offer on that would be to patiently wait for the next update.
It would be great if I could decide the game language myself. Currently it is German as my phone is set German. But there have been huge translation difficulties in the past and there are still some little points. I would prefer to play it just in English as it has been in the beginning.
I have seen this before and I have to agree with you language selection would be nice.
When I started the game at the very beginning there had been difficulties when entering the name, so that it is now strange, with 3 lines. An option to change the name would be a nice luxury.
Like you said this would be a nice luxury. I would agree so that I could split a save game at certain points in the game when a choice is presented. I don't think this will be high priority on the development list and nor should it be but it would be nice.
It would be nice to have some sound on/off option within the game. I usually forget to turn off the sound of phone before starting the game :-)
The game doesn't have any sound so that should not be a problem.... :?
I think for the pioneers from the beginning there has been some unfair handling in the development of the skills. Would be nice to get the skill points afterwards at next update.
After the update that included skills my save game recieved full skill points. So I am not sure why you wouldn't have received them.
There has been a version where enemies didn't resurrect next to the character. I enjoyed that. I think it disturbing when having killed a monster, want to drink some potion before continuing, but the monster comes back and attacks . .
.

While this is a possibility it should not be a common occurance. My suggestion would be to enter your menu quickly after battle (as I do) or move to a spot with no Monsters.
I've collected so many little stones. Will there ever be a sling to make use of them? :-)

It has been talked about on the forums but as of right now nothing has been decided.
A brutal kind of enemies would be such, which appeare in groups and "consciously" encircle the player, trying to get battles with as many of them as possible at once. (8 in the worst case) Such behaviour would fit to mummies or soldiers.
I have heard rumors, of possibilities, that just maybe this could happen.... :D

Well, I think he means the "click" sound when moving/attacking... If I have my sound on, it's quite annoying, especially considering there isn't truly any sound for the game :)

 I didn't even think about the phone sound itself

My phone is always on Vibrate so I have never noticed it

I wasn't clear on that either. If you don't like the click sounds, you can turn those off in Settings -> Sound -> Touch sounds (or something similar, probably varies by phone).

That's one of the first things I turned off for my phone, along with vibrate on touch, and if there's a startup sound.

I only noticed because I replaced my phone this last weekend and had the sound on still :)

What click sound? I Here nothing while playing on either my gs3 or my tab2. I get "click" sounds on my tab2 while typing this, but never while playing AT

The next few updates will fill in a bunch of these gaps, the exact release date is still to be determined.
Eurase wrote:It would be nice to have some sound on/off option within the game. I usually forget to turn off the sound of phone before starting the game :-)
There are no sounds in the game, and as far as i ahve seen right now there are no immediate plans to add noise. That may be added in later in development but IDK for sure.
Eurase wrote:I think for the pioneers from the beginning there has been some unfair handling in the development of the skills. Would be nice to get the skill points afterwards at next update.
Please give an example to why you feel this way about the skills.
Are you saying that at the next update that players should be given SPs w/o having to earn them?
Eurase wrote:There has been a version where enemies didn't resurrect next to the character. I enjoyed that. I think it disturbing when having killed a monster, want to drink some potion before continuing, but the monster comes back and attacks . . .
That is what makes the game tricky, kill the NPC and move away from the area before they can get revenge. I think of it as the NPC you killed isnt resurecting but a buddy of his is charging/sneaking in trying to get revenge.

Right now there is a suggestion already made for a sling but there is no plans for it to be added to the game. Ranged weapons would require alot of changes to inplement IMHO.

V7: The NPCs will start moving during combat and depending on the NPC they can mob you and really back you into tough corners. No release date right now, but it is in the works as i type.
