http://code.google.com/p/andors-trail/i ... tail?id=60
Arambold bug
http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3398
TODO: Anyone really: Add as issue on issue tracker:
2. Completed since the last meeting:
Mino, Wyrmspawn, scottdog gotten back to Scott so far about their quests. Scott will follow up and see about getting them ready for release.
Oskar is working on conversations for Lodar quest and the skill quests in the Charwood area.
3. Things that are being worked on:
PK17 offers to do item desc: http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3492
PK17 working on flavour text for item descriptions.
Can’t seem to find any open source translation management that isn’t python based.
Would be interesting to hear about other people’s experiences with translating open-source projects. Both as running the development side of it and also as translators. Anyone out there with good experiences using web-based translation?
New tutorial for setting up AT dev environment.
TODO: Dev team: Add as task in taskfreak to update that development tutorial (probably only need to change svn stuff to git).
TODO: Dev team: Add a task in taskfreak about setting up the android emulator.
4. Discussion of some forum threads/posts that people have found interesting, or want clarification on, or maybe a question answered:
Meirerion quest: http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... =10#p31549
TODO: Scott: Check if there’s anything missing before we can merge it into the game.
Nyktos clickable dialogue: http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3539
Another option could also be to have overlays/popups with text like ”click this icon to see your inventory!” - the first few times you run the game, or until you dismiss it.
We could also add an image to the help section with a screenshot and overlays with text and arrows pointing to what each button in the interface does.
5. Open Discussion:
interesting and short game design articles: http://chocolatepi.net/articles/
TODO: Everyone: read it!
We should aim for posting about the fact that we are doing an “Open source RPG on Android” once we have the new version ready. Gather a list of sites that could be good options for this.
6. What should we have ready for the next meeting?
Oskar working on conversations for Lodar and Charwood quests.
Scott should have an idea which community quests will be ready for release and which need to be pushed until after v0.7.0
We’ll continue looking for web-based translation software.
