I prefer portrait but every time i play i want to play landscape but the picture is too short. If there was a way to move the health bars, etc, I would love that. just to make the picture more square. As of now there's too much blind space on top and bottom for me.

Portrait, Landscape would need to have all the info off to one side for me to use it.

I prefer landscape. My phone is just easier for me to hold and manipulate that way. (HTC Evo)

Ha, I just wondered if anyone ever made this survey. Interesting results! I would have expected more portrait as it is the common screen format for games on a PC or telly.

Interesting... I would've expected more landscape as that's the format of all televisions and most monitors nowadays. There are two changes I would like to see made though.

Portrait: End the screen where the monster info shows up during combat instead of going all the way to the top. This will make it so when we're moving north and clicking like mad and have to run thru a few monsters to get there we don't find ourselves accidentally clicking "End Turn" or the monster info icon.

Landscape: As others have mentioned, move the bars to the sides of the screen. Both the main health bars and the combat bar severely decrease your vertical space and in landscape mode there's plenty of room on the sides.
