Wouldn't it be a good thing to make the player choose what difficult they want to play in?
For example, the Diablo games have Normal, Nightmare, Hell..

That way highlevel players could play satisfied about the XP-rate, gold collecting.. etc.
Maybe the items could have some boost too -or not. I don't know.

Just a suggestion/an idea -I don't think that idea havn't been taken up before but, give it some thoughts ;P
I think the difficulties could be named like "Difficult: Normal" then "Difficult: Increased by X%"

Would it take to much filesize and to much work to make it..work? lol

Hey bro. I think it has been talked about before. Also it would definitely increase file size because you would have to remake everything in the game for each difficulty. When the game becomes more fully developed there will be stronger monsters.

Now so we don't get confused this is a great idea but I think it might be DOA. (dead on arrival) just like fast travel that's DOA as well.

yeah.. true as you say! ^^

but what of having an expansion of AT (in the future ofc, not tomorrow lol).
that is the same as AT, but.. maybe making everything like monster stats, gold, XP etc like 10 times more?

that way it won't be that much of work (just guessing), it would maybe be like the double size of what the regular AT has.
It could also just be about 1 more difficult version of the orginal, then even further in the future it could be increased or something like that -just an idea :P kinda big project though

Also try not to double post. I can get on Pyro's nerves when he has to edit everything. You can delete a double post by clicking the red x at the bottom right hand corner of you message. Also if you left something out or want to add something to a post you can always edit a post. See forum rules for more info on all forum rules.

Oh okay, I'll try find that red cross.
It's not like I'm going in to writing a message and then write exact same thing again.
-I don't know what's causing me to "spam", must be something with this forum.

I've already used "edit" for editing my message if I had to change a sentence or adding/removing more info.
"quite" is also a thing that's been used by me alot :)

AHA! Well, then it's nothing to do about it atm.
But I will have it in my mind -I think that's a problem that should be solved by the forum itself..
It would be pretty annoying to be banned from the forum just because of a small thing like that -about something you can't controll.

It is easier to just press the Edit button on your last post on the thread and then add onto it.

Moved first post from this thread to the proper section, and I will move this to Game Related Questions.
