Dark Blessing of the shadow is payment gain for doing as ordered :-) and there is no additional price fao habing those helmet.

The order is also to bring the sword away and get it destroyed, at least I think a reward for being good should be there

Sarumar,
You keep the helmet and you are rewarded with being able to wear a great helmet. On the other hand, you destroy it and you are rewarded with the skill.
This sword, you are not rewarded for destroying.

If there is reward for destroying it there schould be a price too lets say 3 Oegyth chrystal

The price you pay is that you are forfeiting your chances to gain a good weapon.
