guys, can anyone tell me, whether the quickstrike dagger is a better equipment than the flagstone pride?? my AC is 164%, AD 16-26, critical hit skill 17, CC 13% and BC 72% with Damage resistance 1.. am using the flagstone pride, leather cap, villain's leather armor, jewel of fallhaven, ring of damage 6, ring of protector, troublemaker's gloves, woodcutter's boots and crude wooden buckler..AP is 3 rt now..level 24

hard to say if better, the huge advantage with the dagger, is you get more attacks per round, because the AP will be only 2 with the Jewel of Fallhaven, but you lose a lot of BC. However, with the Pride , you get more dmg, and the chance of critical hits. So, it really depends on what style of attack that you want. This is a classic question and has caused many a discussions....:-)

Well I think this question has been changed now.

I think the new question is: what is better, should you duel weild with qsd should you us 2h weapons or should you is sword and shield?

i wanted to ask, exactly how does the "two swords" duelling work?? i mean, if i use the quickstrike and the flagstone pride instead of the shield, will i get 5+3 attacks per round??

No you combined the AP cost and that's how much AP you use per attack.

That is a very interesting question. I think with the new weapon and gear proficiencies there are more ways to build your character in a way that you find effective.

[split topic] Don't forget that this becomes more powerful when you level it up.
Duel Weilding:
w/o any Skill Points: only 25% of the qualities are used for the 2nd hand, AP is the combined AP of both weapons

Lvl 1: only 50% of the qualities are used for the 3nd hand, AP is full for main hand and 1/2 for 2nd

Lvl 2: Use 100% of BOTH weapon qualities, AP is equal to the weapon equipped with the highest AP

So with lvl 2 you can duel wield something like the Blackwater Poisoned Dagger and the AP would only be 3 to swing both (With the Jewel of Fallhaven or Merrowtaint)

And if you get the Specialization: Duel Weild:

You get an additional 50% of the weapons original AC and BC too.

So having weapons that have a high AC/BC to start would get a HUGE bonus from this.
(The Blackwater Daggers have a staggering 45% AC ;) )

With dual weilding the QSD loses some of its benefit since it's the only weapon with a 2AP cost (with JoF or Marrowtaint). I've been using the Dagger of Shadow Priest and Balanced Steel Sword. But dual wielding is definitely my favorite of the new skills.

Some of my favorite combos:
Axe of whirlwind & Sword of Shadow's Rage (giving yourself speed & rage)
Axe of whirlwind & Axe of fear (just the thought of a little kid wielding 2 axes)
DotSP & Chaos Reaper (weaken their defense then hit them with a critical)
DotSP & Balanced Steel Sword (current stats - good boost to AC)
Chaos Reaper & Barbed Dagger (give them chaotic grip & bleeding wounds)
DotSP & Blade of the defiler (critical hits and recoup HP)
Axe of fear & Chaos Reaper (mental condition double whammy)
