all chainmail is heavy, as stated in the skill...Duke wrote:Well, only people that have made it to charwood, will see the armor prof information. I'm just saying that to eliminate these questions, couldn't they just add "heavy" to the chain mail that isn't light? Because if you look at the category of the Remgard Chainmail, it only states 'chainmail'...so to the novice, it would help if it also said chainmail heavy.
unless stated otherwise in the name.
something does need to be fixed

i'm a little put off by your choice of words, but that's another topic altogether...
we just need to make sure all the items are tagged properly in the category section of the description screen.
[see my screenshot - this one is how they should all look - but they do not]
no one said it would be perfect when it came out...

Just rescued the folks from up in Charwood and I'm trying to make informed decisions about which skills to learn.
I'm wearing light armor now, so that would make sense, but I may not be wearing it for long after this.
There appear to only be 3 armors in the entire game officially classified as "heavy," (2 of which are special) so I'm wondering why that's an entire skill set unto itself.
Chainmail armors, of which there are 7 in the game, do not appear to be included in either the light or heavy armor skill sets that I can learn.
Are they technically classified as one or the other, or neither? As there are so many in the game it would seem to make sense to have an available skill set that affects them? Maybe there already is and I'm missing it?
I've searched for info on this but have struck out so far.
Welcome to the forum!!!
and thanks for pointing this out!
