My BC build

Hello everyone,
i want to do a high BC build.
I usually go by taking DMG per 5 level and then BC per the next 5 levels to take DR
But when i go by high BC do i need the DR? Since there are like no hits on me why do i need to reduce the dmg then?
I still don't know if i want to build Dualwield or 2handed and which weapon to choose.
About my Skillorder: im not sure what to take to make "the best" out of it.
My current is in the Signature but im not satisfied with it since i messed up Marrowtaint and im not sure about the armor and weapon proficiency
Can you give me some suggestions?
My goal would be to do some decent/good damage while having a high BC and getting Taunt pretty fast
What do you think? Any suggestions or questions are welcome!

DR can be useful for a High BC build, as some NPCs will hit you here and there (especially bosses, or when you're inflicted status effects for example). Some DR can eliminate completely the need for potions.
I'd also suggest going 2handed. You'll "never" get hit, so having a little amount of attacks per round is probably not that important, compared to hitting VERY HARD when you succeed.
On a roleplay perspective, it also makes sense : you're a tank, an invincible being, able to withstand the worst of attacks, and laugh at Hira'zinn himself ! You deserve that slow, heavy, painful two-handed sword ! After all, you almost crush daggers in your hands when trying to use them.

Well, if you're really going for BC you'll go sword & shield. Take a look at the Blackwater set.
Blackwater Iron Sword
Remgard Shield
Blackwater Leather Armor
Blackwater Leather Cap
Combat Gloves
Woodcutter's Boots
Marrowtaint
2x Ring of the Protector
This list is fairly easy to obtain, allows the use of Sword & Shield skill as well as a focus on Leather armor and provides the following stats:
4 AP attack cost (-1 from Marrowtaint, +1 from Blackwater Misery)
44% AC (94% from items, -50% from Blackwater Misery)
3-13 AD
114% BC
2 DR
21 HP
I don't think you can go negative on Crit but if so then you'd be at -50 Crit from Blackwater Misery. Do note that there are better items out there, I'm just listing a set that I know is possible to obtain (Marrowtaint vs. Remgard upgrades for example) and that sticks to one kind of armor (Leather in this case). You'll note that it provides quite a bit of stats and is a lot more balanced than it would seem at first glance.
3 points in Fighting Style: Weapon and Shield would add an additional 37% AC and 6% BC.
1 point in Specialization: Weapon and Shield would add another 25% AC and 0-1 AD.
3 points in Light Armor Proficiency would give 56% BC.
2 points in Shield Proficiency would give 2 DR.
(I don't know for sure what One-Handed Sword Proficiency gives but I think it's basically the same as Dagger Proficiency)
3 points in One-Handed Sword Proficiency would probably give 45% AC and 4% BC
That all adds up to 4 AP Attack Cost, 151% AC, 3-14 AD, 180% BC, 4 DR, and 21 HP. In other words, a pretty beastly build that still gets 3 attacks per turn (with 2 points in Combat Speed). In fact, with those stats you wouldn't even really need to spend many level ups on BC since your BC will already be higher than everything except the Khakin, Hirathil, and a couple of bosses.
