I spent a few days trying to find every item the the armourer would upgrade. I only came up with 3 item. After buying up almost every item in the game and letting him rummage through my backpack. Not worth it.

Not really. As I stated earlier, if you made a crit happy character, you need the woodcutter's feather cap.

As for the 3 upgradable items so far, Remgard Chainmail has the best BC armor that you can buy while the Remgard Combat Shield has lower AC penalties with good BC too with DR 1. The boots ain't too shabby either.

Its not that bad to pick Remgard.

BUT if my build was not crit intensive, I'd side with the witch

On my first build (the only one that's actually completed the game) I didn't care about the pros and cons the quests did. I did what my character would do. He is loyal to feygard, a real badass that does most of the favors just for the treasure there might be. He doesn't have much of feelings, mostly loyalty, to feygard.

I sure hope there will be some benefits of choosing their side later in to the game. I mean, I'm not even welcome in all of their beds
