I am 200k under 1 million gold. Now what?

After grinding for legendary items, levels and finishing quests I am super rich. What will I do with all of my money? Potions? I have them buts its just for show since I've never used them.

Is there an upcoming content that I can use my well earned gains? Not potions but maybe some super armor/weapons or the ability to reset skills? Maybe buy a "teleport" ability so my poor character doesn't walk around too much

I feel confident in my knowing of Oskar's wants and vision of this game to say that this will never happen. He wants the player's decisions and actions to have consequences.

This is doubtful. Maybe a boat? That is doubtful too.

Well, there will be new cities with new weapon and armor shops in future updates, so you could always save gold for them. I'm sure 800k is more then enough. You could always super-stock up on Bonemeal potions as I have. I don't know what else to spend the gold on.

As for the teleporting and stats resetting, I doubt that. I guess those things will never come in play.

And if you get tired of farming and gathering gold, you can start a new build to try out different paths of fighting and choices in the game. Or you can help out with new content and/or testing new releases.

I was just hoping on the reset and teleport

Are you aware if shops will sell uber items or skills that cost alot of gold?

If you are high in level, you're bound to be rich. I hope that some content comes into play that would cost alot and be worth it. It would kinda suck to have all that money and have nothing worthwhile to spend it on.

How about another opportunity like the one in the basement of the crossroads guardhouse? Where you pay a guard a large sum of money to see what is behind the door? It could be a a tough baddie or small group of baddies that has a chance to drop a cool item?

I like that idea! +1 from me.

But it's important to remember that Andor's Trail isn't made for the people developing and the guys on the forum. Don't misunderstand me here. My point is that you start the game, back in crossglen, make this huge adventure to find your brother, then The End. If someone gathers 10 million gold while waiting on the next update, the developers can't just implement a 3 million gold super-item just like that. It still needs to balance the story, and how rich the average player is at a certain point.

But, for my taste, I'd love achievements, more legendary items, and these super items you can buy for gold. But, quoting another member just "One of many..."

I understand that this game is still being developed and its not just for us people in the forum.

If I were to give an example on what I hope that can happen, it would be something like this:

Let's say with the heartstone quest, after completing it the guy thanks you and sells you heartstone gear. He then informs you that he can make better items BUT it is very expensive and difficult to do. You would need to buy equipment from Remgard and BWM and that would cost alot of gold (50k for example). Afterwards you would need to get additional items like Arulir skin, Venomscales, ash etc.

He would also say that the items themselves are expensive (maybe 15k-20k per item). So this is totally optional if the player wants to do this. The items are better than the best bought items in game right now (ie BSS, Remgard Shield, Remgard Chainmail, BWM gear) with maybe some on contact actor conditions. The items are good but not game changing that could destroy game mechanics.

What do you guys think? Could this be possible?

For me, totally possible. I'd love to see more of this coming in play. Maybe you're up to writing dialogues about it?

Hmm.. i love to see some use for those useless piles of gold, but IMO there should not be any usefull use... I mean that perhaps you can build a larger house or give gold for those ones who need it (like support rebuilding something).

I do not like to see this game turning into grind fest

Donate to poor or to buy land would be cool. Imagine beeing the king of Fallhaven. Like, not that should give any benefits, maybe have the townsfolk add "King *name*" when talking to you
