I am slightly anti religion and pseudoscience.

I sided with unzel because the shadow seems much more useful than religion in the real world. I protect the shadow from rifts and blackholes. Just because it seems more useful than non shadow.

As a tip, for whenever you get into situations like these where you have to side with one side or another, you can always fork your save files so you can compare the immediate benefits.. But nobody knows what consequences the future holds in the long-term..

Yes that's what I often do as well even if it's a little bit cheating. Bu that's okay for me.
