Andor's Trail

Hi everybody,

Firstly, I’d like to apologize for the loading bug in the newest BlackBerry release. I’m currently working on a solution and hopefully will have something in a day or two. If need be, I will simple re-release the 0.7.0 release for you to continue the game while a solution is being derived.

Another note, after this mess is solved, Andor’s Trail will be discontinued from BlackBerry appworld due to the ability to directly install Android applications on BlackBerry; I will not be pushing out further updates through appworld. If you don’t already know, you can download one of the third-party Google Play markets on your device (I use ‘Snap’) and download the releases pushed out by Oskar on the Android market directly to your phone.

The game has been removed from sale from appworld to prevent more users from installing the update but as soon as a fix is found, the last release of Andor’s trail on BlackBerry appworld will be released.

(Playbook users, not to worry, I will do my best to provide playbook releases as the game progresses until the same features are released on the tablet)

Thanks, i know that OS10 now supports Android apps, but the few that i tried (like Layar) didn't work, so i was sticking with native apps.
Andor will be a nice attempt to try another Android app again
Will post if this succeeds.

Head over to CrackBerry and read about Snap, it's the best client rn IMO

Hi all,

For those of you experiencing an issue with the BlackBerry 0.7.1 loading game saves, you can re-download the game from app world (0.7.0) and continue playing the game as before. Zukero is currently investigating the problem with the 0.7.1 release and it will be out again when the issue is resolved.

For now,you guys can simply do the following:


- make a backup of your AT folder (file manager>misc>android>andors-trail). Just copy that folder to a specific location other than that directory.
- uninstall any Andor's Trail applications from your device and then re-download the game from app world 
- after it installs again, go to the directory mentioned above and replace the contents of the folder 'andors-trail' with your back-up contents

Thanks to Zukero's awesome help, I finally have a working 0.7.1 ready to go. I've tested it and everything seems to be working. I will shortly release it to appworld and it should be out shortly.
Due to the temporary solution, I might have to keep updating the BB releases manually and due to the mistake on my part I will do so until we figure out a permanent fix.

So once again a HUGE thanks to our friend Zukero; you guys should see the update in a few days.

(Perhaps for future releases we should have some testers before I make any releases, if you're up to the job shoot me a PM )

Again, thanks so much for all the hard work! I've got Snap going on my Zeddy and will just use the 'droid version from there.

It's good to know that you'll be keeping the PlayBook version going as well. I'm happier playing Andor on that critter as I like the bigger screen. All the same, it's great to noodle around with it on the Z10.
