Back After Hiatus

Hello,

Thanks to everyone for keeping AT going. I first started back in 2012, but left it for a while. College, life, etc. Ha, plus have been through 2 or 3 phones since then, which is sad since my first character wasn't transferable to my knowledge :( Had a Droid Incredible 2 and couldn't access the actual save file on the device. So, pretty much just started over within the last few months. In Lodar's maze :D Y'all should win an award for the development. I really enjoy that stuff: twists, turns and mazes in general. I even enjoy how the...
Hirathil make use of the move cost and start to mob you--well, actually everything in there does
...but I am in a tough spot. To those of you that made it through I would appreciate any advice.
Ok, so those ghosts basically ate through my Bonemeal. Didn't even start to really use them until I started fighting the Khakin. Started with maybe 133 of those, around 170 regular potions, I'm guessing around 200 meat, and 20 or so minor potions. I got down to like 25 Bonemeal before I actually got to Lodar. I felt so relieved, finally meeting the great potion maker of legend! I could finally...oh...he wants me to kill the main boss first :/ Sigh. I'm using the regular potions for healing outside of battler, but down to 45 of them. It's annoying how these Hirathil can get criticals on you but not visa versa. A good challenge, yeah, but still a pain when they mob you. At this point trying to dodge them to get to the main, but will have to fight eventually. I have a few potions of minor speed but they're not helping too much, or I'm just not seeing their affect. Standing on the right side of the map just below the staircase up to Lodar's yard. Gonna try to make it and check back here to see if anyone has any ideas. Going to add stats to the signature when I can; not seeing the option here so will post as soon as I find it.

I have used hit and run tactics, with few or even no potions, effectively when I was in a bad spot. I knocked down the HP of as many monsters as possible without actually killing them. Then I would kill all of them, and run to the next safe spot. Without potions it's kind of slow because you have to stand in a safe spot to heal, but I have had a lot of success with it.
How much gold do you have? Lodar can sell you his bonemeal potions once you have killed the boss.

Thanks for the reply.
That's smart, will have to remember that. I have just north of 7000. I wish the ghosts gave money cause ha, would really have enough then but I'm fine with the money I have I think, just gotta make it through. In the area with the boss with only about 12 Bonemeal left. I've been using the meat for regen to help a bit.

He's hard. Verrry hard! I used hit and run on him too. Some people don't like hit and run, but I say "run away, and live to fight another day" ;)

He is hard but the ogyeth crystal plackstrider master is the most powerful baddie in the game :P

Ha, I know right. Had to switch to the Greataxe and a pair of Heavy Iron Gloves just to beat him. Was mostly hit and run and save hit and flee until I got caught by him or other baddies. All this trouble over a pile of bones. Smh.

Haha, I actually checked that after I beat him to see if he's the most powerful but no, still that awful Plaguestrider. Just glad to be done, but now ran into another problem.
Not sure if this is even a spoiler, but when I go to buy potions from Lodar, I want to load up of course. Bought the 60 he already had, but can't rest in the bed so it will reset. Basically, how do I get him to reset so I can buy more potions without having to faint or make two trips? Wanted to buy as much as possible before leaving.
-----------
Edit 1
Ok, this is weird. Tried saving after I bought the potions, then shutting down my phone. Booted it back up, talked to him, and instead of the 60 he initially sold me, there were 40. I noticed that the slots I had assigned before weren't re-assigned (added Lodar's) so I decided to just load the file again without shutting off the phone. Went to talk to him again, and now there are 35 potions. Glitch?

-------------
Edit 2
Restarted phone. Now there are 67....will go ahead and buy. Really wanna see where this goes. Will keep posted.

------------
Edit 3

Restarted again. Now it's just the other potions and the couple items I sold to him. 127 potions isn't too bad for now at least, but just thinking of everything I have to go through if I want more....sigh. Guess I'll save and use them only when absolutely necessary. Might just stock up on regular Bonemeal otherwise

Hi Sawblade -

More knowledgeable players will sure to be along, but I believed that the 'vendor reset' was tied to the three minute map reset - leave the map for three minutes; return; all the potions you could want.

I cannot access Lodar on this game, but assume it is the same. I tested it on other merchants.

My apologies Zukero.

Ha, saw this after I left the maze, but have a save file there just in case it was a bug. Will have to try it out. Trying for Legendary/Extraordinary items atm. RoLS, why do you vex me so? :'(
