If you were organizing a kickstarter you would need to have some devs first who are ready to work on this full time with the money gathered by kickstarter. I don't know if there is a team, or even a single developer, willing to do so. And one would need to define the goal of this kickstarter first. I doubt that this is a going to help with advancing the development, but then I don't know the core team, so I could be wrong.

Well I *would* love to be working full time on AT, but I doubt a kickstarter campaign would raise enough money, and I actually love the fact that no money exchange was ever involved in the making of AT.
