how do you open a chest?

i tried holding it in on my tablet, and clicking on it several times. nothing seems to work. is there something else I need to do to access this chest? its in a house . Please help

Chests are just cosmetic. You can't open them.

Whooo, another idea reappeared in my mind - editing some maps where chests or other "containers" are actually not walkable and make them lootable...
I really would like to force a player keep trying opening various-placed chests. I already integrated some lootable boxes in the arulirmountain. Its jsut some common or broken stuff you can find there, but at least there is something to find
