Andor's Trail on the Computer

I cant remember if this has been discussed.

I don't think it has..
I was wondering if there would ever be an Andor's Trail released for the computer. It would allow for some extra content, show more of the map due to having a bigger screen, and music could finally be implemented. (Computers can handle larger files, meaning music would not impede the processes.) I would surely like to have the option to play the game on my computer..
I would do it myself, but I'm very bad at code.. And don't currently have the time to sit down and learn it properly..
Perhaps the computer version would draw in a larger player-base as well. More publicity is a good thing!

Well, making a PC port of AT would pose a bunch of challenges :
- large parts of the game is designed for touch input and will need a redesign.
- the whole UI relies on android -only APIs, and need to be recoded completely
- the two codebases would have to be maintained, and I have more than enough to do with just one
- the situation of freeware game developers on the PC is rough, with a constant harassment from crapware editors to have their "toolbar" bundled in your installer.
However, you have several ways to enjoy AT on your PC:
- Use a VM. Check on google for "Run android in virtualbox". I use it to test dev versions.
- Use an app player like bluestacks. I've never tried, but some others claimed good results.
- it seems you can also run it within chrome.
Hope it answered your questions.

Thanks guys!
I've checked into several emulators and programs and even looked at using android x86. But, currently, I can't download things onto the computer I'm using. Perhaps in the future.
All the same, thanks! Each of your inputs is appreciated!

I read about that a while back. Sounds great but I believe that this is gonna be a Windows Phone 10 feature. Not testable yet, at least for me. If you have a way to try, I'm really interested in knowing how it goes.
I haven't found a comprehensive list of the supported APIs yet though so I don't know if AT have a chance of working.
The windows phones seemed great lately, and if I can get AT on them, I think I would think twice about getting one.
