I'm stuck on this quest and I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. I'm in the preliminary stage of the quest in which you speak to individuals around the towns to gather information. I'm missing the guard's point of view, but no matter who I talk to, the quest does not continue. Any insight is appreciated.

Have you spoken to the farmers on the field to the crossroad tower? Then you will get the hint to talk to the drunk (Landa) in the pub of Loneford and the quest continues. Add. key persons: Talion (priest), Taevinn, Sienn.

There's no bug. You just need to speak to a lot of people. If Firefly's suggestion doesn't get it moving again please post more details about where you are in the quest log.

Sometimes it happens that it seems this quest stucks. I have experienced this phenomen with three Characters. The first time I was so despared that I thought, I could never continue and had to recreate a new Char and start from beginning.
But it's all about talking to all possible people from the Crossroads Guardshouse to Loneford - sometimes twice, until the one dialogue appears. Just be certain that you didn't miss to talk to everyone.

The only dialogue that I am able to talk to Minnara about is her bandit scouting mission. I'm guessing that she is supposed to be the last dialogue that I'm missing, but I am unable to discuss it with her at the moment. I don't know if I will be able to talk to her about it once I complete the bandit quest, but this is pretty inconvenient and I assume is a bug.

Thanks for the vote of confidence ! While highly unlikely, a bug is always a possibility.

In the present case though, I think it's not one. Until proven otherwise.

I completed the quest 'the path is clear to me' and her other dialogue finally unlocked. Now I can move on.
