'16 map progress

Hey guys, I have finished classes at university for now and was thinking of whether or not I should contribute to some map-making and would love suggestions.

From what I know, Stoutford is complete and we have a Nor City sketch (or something like that). Arulir Mountain has probably been done too, idk. Could we have a progress report of some kind? I'm sure we would all love to have Carn Tower, Feygard, Nor City, etc. done too, but some awareness of how far along we've gotten would be very nice. I have been eyeing Brightport for a little bit.

If we have more need for other content creation like quests than I would be glad to do something there, just point me in the right direction.

Hello Voom.
Brightport is indeed an open area, but as you said, there are more urgent needs. Specifically, the Stoutford townspeople lack dialogues for many of them, let alone simple quests and items.
I could discuss the details with you in a PM if you wish, but I'd already point you to trying ATCS and look at the structure of the existing content to get a feel of how it's done.

Thanks for the quick response. I understood as much, we have some other things to take care of first. I have used ATCS a bit, experimentally. I have also made a map before with the given rules and Tiled (accidentally deleted by my brother...D:). I am gonna PM you.

As far as a progress report, could we have an idea of what has been completed if I haven't said everything already, Zukero?

Edit: Answer: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5506

I did the original work on Stoutford maps and general main quest design. If there is work to do to help finish it up, I'd be interested in helping out.

Hey guys, I'm not a programmer but if it's just dialogue you need, well, I am a published writer. Throw something my way and let me see what I can do to help. I've only published a few fiction pieces, most of my stuff has been heady theological stuff, but I'd be glad to help.

Awesome :) I just downloaded the github, and want to take a look through the current status of Stouford. If I need help with quest ideas or dialogue, I'll let you know.

Also, someone was working on Nor City who might be able to use some help. Who is that? Speak up!

I don't know anyone working on Nor City, but Stoutford definitely needs to be complete.
Zukero hasn't sent me how much has been completed yet so you will need to ask him for dialogue help. We need more help, thanks publisher!
