Can I load an updated version of the game without losing my progress? I have multiple characters I'd rather not lose. One of which is level 88 with 12,549,771 experience and has every item that can be bought or traded for.

Every update is supposed to be compatible with any previous version. You could theoretically load a v0.6.7 game on a v0.7.2 without issue.
If it's not, there's a bug, and we'd like to know.
As long as you don't overwrite a save file anyway, there shouldn't be any corruption.

You can also backup your saves, they're plain files in the "andors-trail" directory on your device's "sdcard" folder (or equivalent).
