it was a choice made early so the prerequisites were easier to attain.
those skills come slow after a certain level...

I'm working on my second character now, only on level 19, but am going for taunt. I'm not so good at the technical side with adding up all the pros and cons, but just doing it because it looks fun

I'm currently doing poorly trying to slog through the spider cave at level 29, and I could see how Taunt could be useful in reducing their swings at me, since my BC is close to their AC and they miss a lot of first swings. Then again, so do I. Maybe back to the Iqhan Cave instead...

berserk potions are nice down there helping boost your AC while being affected with their spidery afflictions...

i've tried taunt briefly and I liked it ok, takes a lot of skill points to get.
