List of town/place names

Maybe this is already on the forums somewhere but I can't find it. I'm looking for a complete list of towns and other named places, like the green maze isn't a town but it's a place with an official name. I don't mean places like "the cabin between Crossglenn and Fallhaven" or "Vilegard tavern" because those are more descriptions than names, if that makes sense.

Ian has created a list of places, but it is very forward looking, and contains many places that don't exist yet. It's meant to be a background document for development, and is therefore subject to change, so I don't think it would be a good idea to make it public. Other than that, I don't think such a list exists. It might be a good idea to create one though, for clarity. Some places have names that have just been acquired by common usage on the forums, rather than by the conscious decision of any developer. An excellent example of that is "The Green Maze". I don't know where the name first came from, but it's stuck, so now that's it's name.

But it's still not "official" the way that the name of Fallhaven is...

True. I don't think it has an official name. On the forums it has been referred to as the Green Maze (most commonly) and Lodar's maze. Ian's document has it as "Sha’kaar Maze". I have never seen that name used outside of that document, but I guess that's as close to official as it gets.

The reason I was asking was, while translating, I was changing the names of towns into more Swedish-ized names. I think the names convey some meaning to the game, like Brightport sounding a lot more positive then Vilegard. And if you use names with English words in them, some players might not understand the meaning, and it's distracting for everyone to have an English word all of a sudden. So I was thinking of just compiling a list of the place names and having the Swedish names for them handy, rather than asking myself every time it comes up in a dialogue "what was it I decided that should be called?"
Oh and also the road signs you can "walk into" in the game and it tells you what town and what direction? Some of those towns don't exist yet, but they have names that need to be included if you translate the game.
If you think it's ok, you could PM me the list that was made by Ian and then I can copy-paste the ones I recognize. That way I'll be sure not to forget something. I promise not to publish it or anything... but if you don't think you should do that I understand.

You can create a glossary for swedish in weblate to compile this handy list for all to use.
That's what the Russian did.

Actually, that's what I started to do as well. Feygard comes up the most so far. However, I don't translate the town names literally, but by sound.

Here's a first pass. All these places either exist, exist in dialogue or signs, have been discussed enough on the forums that the names exist even if the places don't (yet), or the names are pretty much cast in stone within the development team, even if nobody else has ever heard of them. There are a lot more place names than this in Ian's planning document, but for translation purposes they don't matter (yet). If I missed anything (which I probably did!), someone please say so.

It lacks the Undertell, the place below Mount Galmore.
Wow, I never heard about some of these...
