My save file progress was lost in transfer?

So I have an old Galaxy S3, and I just got a Galaxy J3 to replace it. Well I wanted to move my game from the old phone to the new one, so I followed the instructions I had found on this forum that told me how to do it, but when I tried to open the save file, it put me back at the beginning of the game! I was leveled up really far, and it set me back to level 14. All my rare items and quest progress is gone. Any idea how to get it back?

I see several possibilities here:
- You only transfered one or some of your saves, but not all of them.
- You copied from the wrong storage device (SD card instead of Device internal memory or vice versa)
- You copied to the wrong storage device.

Hello Yuki, and welcome to the forums.

Don't get rid of or wipe that S3. As long as you can load the game on the S3, the save game is on there somewhere. First make sure you know which game you are looking for. On the S3 go to the screen where you load a game, and note the number of the slot. If it is, for example, 10, then the file is named savegame10. It should be under primary/andors-trail, where "primary" is the root folder of the S3.

Unfortunately............without my SD card from my old S3 (which is now in my J3) the Andor's Trail game doesn't work for some reason? I'm afraid if I re-install it on my old device I will somehow end up deleting the save file (which I couldn't find in the system memory or anything)

And I only ever made one save file

EDIT: OK so I just went and tried putting my SD card back into my S3, and it gave the same results as my J3, which said I was on level 14.

So here's what happened. My Andor's Trail progress was on my S3 internal memory, so I moved it to my SD card so I could transfer it to my new phone. Once I downloaded the game and tried to open my save file, it was down to level 14! I've never made any other save files, so where did all my progress go?

Reinstalling AT will have no effect on saved games. I install new test versions all the time and I have never had a savegame problem.

AT cannot revert a savegame back to an earlier time. There is no mechanism by which that can happen.

Look in the andors-trail folder in the internal memory. That's where your savegame is stored by AT.

That's the one that I moved to my SD card, which then said I was at level 14

Then sorry, but I don't know what to tell you. The game cannot revert a savegame to an earlier version. If you have a level 14 savegame, that's because you saved it at level 14. I have no way to know what happened to any other savegame you had. If you wish, you can post the savegame you have here and I'll take a look at it, but I very much doubt I will come to any different conclusion.
