Revive the old "Bestlist"

Hello players!

I plan to revive the old bestlist in a new format and new measurement.
But as you can have different builds and choices, a mostly objective measurement is nearly impossible.

This is my try:
Level, Places Visited (PV), Finished Quests (FQ): Level counts fully, for the PV will only count the last ten, for FQ the last 2 (can change with future updates)
Legendary Drops: 3 Points each (that includes the Ring of far lesser Shadow (RoFLS))
Extraordinary Drops: 2 Points each
Dark Protector (DP), Xul'virr (X), Marrowtaint (M), Boots of the Globetrotter (BotG), LifeTaker (L) with 1 Point (all these items can or cannot be obtained with quests - that is your choice!)

The current stats have no weight.

You can only post one character, and please a non-cheated character. The ranking will use your nickname of this forum to avoid multiple characters.

The Dark Protector and Xul'viir are extraordinary, not legendary. There are many extraordinary items in the game, but only five legendary items.

I would base it mostly on level. After all, if you are at a high level, you have probably done most or all of the quests, and have visited most or all places. Your level already counts those things, so adding more points for them means double counting them. Also think about the weighting. A typical level for finishing all current content is maybe around 50. The total number of quests is 63. But the total number of places is almost 500, so giving all those things one point would weight places about 10x higher than levels or quests.

I'd say give a bonus to those who visited all places (10 points for example). Maybe even 1 point for each of the last 10. Something like max(0, visited-487).

I will work of a formula for this.

As I haven't those items, I had to suggest (or look them up). I want to add those one of a time items you can permamently miss because of your choices without to put to much weight to them. That's why I would give them only one point but at least 2 (or perhaps 3) for the RofLS, as it is legendary.

That is what I mean with a difficult weighting. But I wanted to add the visited places somehow (Zukero's suggestion is great), perhaps I can weight the finished quest so: 1 point for 62 Quest and 2 Points for all 63 (depending on the sheeps). Such a formula can be adjusted with future updates (like adding new L&E drops).

Question: Shall I ask for a MF penalty? Like subtraction of the MF points (0,5x for level 1-10, 1x for 11-20 etc). That will reward those without or few MF but not those with high MF.
(For a special player with MF 66 it would be a penalty of 3,5*66 = 231 points  , for me it would be 0,5*9 = 4,5 points, but the special player should have a high level and plenty of L&E drops).

I see the logic in a MF penalty, but there is a reason to not include that. You can only base the ranking on what you can scrape from people's signatures. If they don't list, for example, places visited, they don't get the bonus points. It's then up to them to add that information. What if someone chooses not to list skills though? Zukero, for example, chooses not to list any skills. Should that exclude them from the list?

For skills I don't put all my skills down though

I wouldn't give a penalty for MF. If you have this skill, you have chosen it instead of other skills which might have helped to get a higher exp score

That is why I started this topic. Now I can think of actually doing this list.

All players, who want to add to this list, please add a signature to your profile like mine (you can look for an explanation of the abbreviations under Legendary and Extraordinary Items). Then post once here, perhaps add into the post, if you have the Mountaineers' Boots (that should be the name for Kayla's Boots).

I will either start an excel or access-list.

The boots from Kayla are "Boots of the Globetrotter", or BotG.

Sorry, but you are disqualified for this ranking. Both your accounts and characters are obviously cheated. :!:
